Milton is in the process of applying for funding to construct a wastewater treatment system from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the State Revolving Loan (SRFprogram. If successful in the pursuit of funding, construction of the wastewater treatment system could begin in the spring of 2010.
The town of Milton received a grant from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (IOCRA) to conduct a planning study on the existing water system and investigate the possibility of constructing a wastewater treatment system and stormwater drainage system. The planning grant is in the final stages of close out.
Cambridge City received a grant from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (IOCRA)to conduct a planning study on the existing water system. The system is aging and will need upgrades and modernization to keep up with demand. The planning grant has been successfully closed out.
