Payment
Payment is due and payable on the first day of the month. Payment rendered between the first and tenth day of the same month may be made without penalty. However, penalties are assessed for payments after the tenth day of the month as follows: ten percent of the first $3.00 plus three percent on excess over $3.00 on water and electric charges and ten percent on the sewer charge. NOTE: All the foregoing utilities are billed on one billing for the prior calendar month period.
Delivery Voltage
The primary voltage of existing overhead distribution lines is 2,400 volts. Service delivers 120 volts on single phase at 120/240, and on three phases at 120/208, 240/440, 277/480, and 120/240 to the customers weather head.

Public Fire Protection
The amount to be paid by the Town of Cambridge City for fire hydrant rental shall be $208.00 per hydrant per annum.
Private Fire Protection System
All water used as shown on the meter will be charged at the rate of 1.66 per 1,000 gallons
Tapping Fees
Each user, at the time he is connected with the waterworks system, shall pay actual costs of tapping the main, furnishing and laying service pipe, service and meter box, and installing meter, with a minimum charge of $75.00.
Temporary Users
Water furnished to temporary users such as contractors, circuses, etc., shall be charged on the basis of the metered gallon rates hereinbefore set forth as estimated and established by the Waterworks Superintendent.
Turn on Fees
After any water service is discontinued to any property serviced by the water utility for any reason, whether at the request of the consumer or because of failure to pay sewer, or water bills, there shall be imposed a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for turning on the water service.
Collection and Deferred Payment Charges
All bills for water services not paid within fifteen days from the due date thereof, as stated in such bills, shall be subject to the collection of deferred payment charge of 10% on the first $3.00 and 3% on the excess over $3.00.
